Red Hook - Blueline Series: Extra Special Birthday
- Very light, clear/clean grains/malts aromatics .. hint of spices/citrus
- Dark & clear amber color .. light CO2 bubbles, thins out to a creamy head
- Complex tastes of the dark malts, bread like grains, spices & a slight Belgium ale banana flavor .. not much hops
- This is abit of an odd one for me .. it's different, hard to place .. 6.5/10

- Light sweetish hoppy/malty aromatics
- Medium body mouthy feel, slightly silky smooth
- Lightly sweet & slightly hoppy, slightly amber malty
- Fairly clean after taste .. an odd mix of the slightly sweet & bitter hops & malts
- Not much of a bitter hoppy IPA .. it's a bit sweet IMO
- I might try it again .. 6.5/10

- Nice Columbus Hops aromatics ... Mmmmm
- Slightly velvety smooth, medium body mouthy feel
- Clean hoppy bitterness, not very bitter, or flowery/sweet
- Finish/aftertaste has a trailing citrus/metallic like bitterness
- This is a bit of an odd one .. I was expecting something different .. like Stone IPA .. nope
- I'll have to try this again to see if its a bug batch .. 6.5/10

Ninkasi - Sleighr Dark Double Alt Ale (7.2% ABV)
- Hardly any aromatics at all when opened or poured
- Dark nearly black color .. light just barely penetrates it
- Medium mouthy feel .. not creamy, rich or velvety
- Mmmm .. this is very nice .. not overly malty alcoholy, nor hoppy bitter, or flat
- I really like this .. I was expecting something rich, smooth, malty alcohol winter ale
- I'd get this again & again .. 8.5/10

American Brewing Co. - Breakaway IPA (7.2% ABV)
- Light flowery hops aromatics
- Golden amber color, slight haze to it, fluffy dense head, almost looks like nitrogen head
- Mmmm, medium almost creamy mouthy feel, starts off lightly bitter-sweet, goes down nice
- Aftertaste has trailing bitter hops that linger on for a while, not face twisting bitter
- Maybe a very slight orange/lemon peel bitterness
- Different IPA .. it's kinda nice .. might buy it again, 6.5/10

- Light roasted malts/grains aromatics
- Medium bodied, clean and smooth mouthy feel
- Clean roasted grains/malts taste .. not too espresso dark or too alcoholy malty taste
- Similar after taste
- Not bad .. decent light-ish Winter ale .. 7/10

MacTarnahan's Amber Ale (5.1% ABV)

MacTarnahan's Amber Ale (5.1% ABV)
- Light fresh/dry hops & amber malts aromatics
- Medium bodied, smooth, well balanced of hops, malts, grains for a EZ to drink amber ale
- Slight trailing of hops at the very end
- I'd drink it again & again .. 7.5/10
