Unibroue - Trios Pistoles (9.4% ABV)


Unibroue - Trios Pistoles (9.4% ABV)
- Not much aromatics, hints of fruits
- Light, mebby medium body feel, clean tasting
- Surprisingly mellow, but dark, malty taste
- Fairly clean aftertaste, but light trail of fruit & malts
- I wasn't sure of what to expect from this
- It's different, but not too odd or weird
- I would probably pick it up again, 7/10

Scuttlebutt 10* Below (7.4% ABV)
- Light malty aromatics
- Medium-heavy, but clean malty flavors
- Nice bit of smokey flavors too..maybe a dash of coffee
- This is an awesome Winter brew, just the right amount of malty, smokey flavors
- Medium bodied, but clean feeling, hardly any aftertaste
- Highly recommended 8/10

Ninkasi - Tricerahops Double IPA (8.8% ABV)


Ninkasi - Tricerahops Double IPA (8.8% ABV)
- Flowery, sweetish hops smell
- Great flowery hop taste, medium bitterness, alil malty too
- Aftertaste is pretty clean, not much bitterness or malty
- ...slight trail of bitter hops at the very end
- This is a great beer, and high % too!
- If you like flowery hoppy beers, with a slightly malty & higher alcohol content, get this!
- 8/10

Rogue - Kells Irish Style Ale (12* PLATO, 28 IBU, 75AA, 9.8* L)
- Ingredients: Great Western Pale, Crystal-15, Wheat & Acidulated Malts; Sterling Hops, Free Range Coastal Waters & Czech Pils Yeast.

....hard to review...

I am not sure if Ive done may Lager reviews...

I think thats why its different to review, its way different. Almost more yeasty tasting, not really malty or grainy or hoppy...but just different.

Stone - 13th Anniversary Ale (9.5% ABV)
- Malty alcohol & hoppy aromatics
- Medium-heavy malty & hoppy flavors
- Unique malty & strong alcohol flavor...not too overpowering, but malty & hoppy & alcohol
- Medium body, same but lighter malty & hoppy after taste
- If you like medium-heavy malty, hoppy & strong beers, you'll like this.
- If I wanted to get CRUNK and wanted a microbrew instead of rot gut beer, I would get this
- Not quite sure if would buy again, 6.5/10

Samuel Smith's - Winter Welcome Ale (6.0% ABV)


Samuel Smith's - Winter Welcome Ale (6.0% ABV)
- Hardly any aromatics, hints of malt
- medium-light malty (like honey) & light spice taste
- light bodied, pretty clean after taste
- I was expecting a thicker heartier ale, but I like this
- I would buy it again, 7/10
