Northern Lights - Amber Ale (4.75% ABV)

Northern Lights - Amber Ale (4.75% ABV)
- Pretty much no aromatics, but lots of CO2 head when poured
- Light-moderate honey taste, fairly clean aftertaste
- light~medium body, CO2 feel
- Hmmm, pretty good for a non-hoppy beer, I would get it again, 6.5/10

Dogfish Head - 90 min Imperial IPA

Dogfish Head - 90 min Imperial IPA
- Malty-Hoppy aromatics, bit of spicy hops
- Malty, caramel, honey taste with pine/juniper berry hops taste
- I would also guess there is brown sugar & vanilla in this also
- Wow, this is different than what I thought it would be...
- I was guessing it was face twisting & malty alcoholy bitter..but it's not
- I kind alike this! not flowery hoppy, but brown sugar/vanilla tasting
- I would buy this again, 8/10

Deschutes Brewery - Red Chair NWPA

Deschutes Brewery - Red Chair NWPA
*snif* .. *snif*
- MMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
- 00ber fresh flowery~sweet hops aromatics! but not too sweet, but oh-so flowery <3
- Taste is O.M.F.G.!! Northwest Hops at it's best! perfect blend of fresh/dry Cascade and/or Willamette hops!
- So, so fresh & flowery, not very bitter but it's still bitter
- Main and aftertaste has a bit of smooth caramel, very slight citrus/orange flavor, but a lil kick of some spice
- WoW! this is a EFFIN great beer! I can see myself drinking it 24/7
- I highly-HIGHLY recommend it for fresh/dry hop IPA lovers
- I will be buying this by the case when I find it! 10/10

Fish Tale Organic IPA

Fish Tale Organic IPA
- I was going to review this, but got munted & forgot to write anything. I forgot about it overnight with 1/2 of the bottle still there. I drank the rest in the morning .. it wasn't that bad for sitting overnight & and room temperature!
- From what I can remember it was pretty good, but I'll have to buy another and give it a proper review

Pike - Auld Acquaintance, Hoppy Holiday Ale

Pike - Auld Acquaintance, Hoppy Holiday Ale (5.0% ABV, 1.052 OG, 32 IBU)
- Very little aromatics, maybe some amber malts ...
- Clean & light on the palette, some CO2 feel too .. also seemed a bit watered down
- Not malty, hoppy or barley-y .. very light citrus & coriander, mebby nutmeg spice
- Aftertaste is pretty much the same, clean, light, not much going on with the flavors
- This is confusing to place it...nothing really stands out, besides nothing stands out!
- I would get it again (fresher/newer bottle) to try it again
- Recommend it as a light winter ale for those who don't want anything too heavy with flavors
- overall 6/10

Elysian: The Immortal IPA (6.3% ABV)
- I've had this on tap for a while, and wanted to see how the 22oz bottle lived up to the on tap
- Mmmmmm, pretty much same-same .. tastes very similar to Stone IPA
- I really like this IPA, it's not over sweet-flowery, nor is it over bitter-harsh
- It's a good balance of fresh hops & bitterness
- I can see myself drinking this all day, 9/10

Stone: Imperial Russian Stout

Stone: Imperial Russian Stout
- I am at my uncles house, so pics will be a bit different
- Plus this is my debut of my Nikon D40 pics!
- I took this pic a while ago & drank it while the D40 battery was charging...
- I don't remember a lot of the beer, but I did like it
- It was not a intense smokey stout, or had much chocolate flavors...nor was it very malty/alcholy
- It was pretty crisp on the palette, but definitely Russian Imperial Stout tasting
- I'd buy it again, and recommend it, 7/10

Samuel Smith's Organic Cider (5.0% ABV)

Samuel Smith's Organic Cider (5.0% ABV)
- Light Apple/Cider aromatics
- Crisp applely, bubbly CO2 taste
- Not quite dry or sweet, can't ID what apples where used
- Its pretty good, not as sweet like JK's or dry like Strong Bow

Rogue Chocolate Stout (15* Plato, 69 IBU, 77 AA, 135.45* L)

Rogue Chocolate Stout (15* Plato, 69 IBU, 77 AA, 135.45* L)
- Deep, dark semi-sweet chocolate, roasted grains/barley aromatics
- Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......OMG dark bitter-sweet chocolate taste, with bits of burnt woody grains/barley
- Very slight bitter chocolate after taste
- This is damn good, I'd consider it one of my fav chocolate stouts now
- Its right up there with Redhook Double Black Stout (with Coffee), 9/10

Lost Coast - Indica IPA (6.5% ABV)

Lost Coast - Indica IPA (6.5% ABV)
- Nice bitter-sweet flowery hops aromatics
- Mmmm, clean/crisp, light flowery but medium bitter hops
- Pretty clean after taste, light trail of the bitterness
- I like this, not quite a Stone IPA, but not washy~weak either
- I would buy it again, recommend if you want a bit more bitter, a little less flowery hops IPA .. 7.5/10

Samuel Adams - Noble Pils Lager

Samuel Adams - Noble Pils Lager
- Grains & hops aromatics, like a strong typical pilsner type smell
- Clean tasting hops, complex, not flowery or sweet like a dry or infused hop beer
- I really have a tuff time with these Lagers, very different to ID the different tastes
- Almost has a citrus/coriander flavor, but bitter
- I can taste the hops, they kinda blend in with one another, but has a woodsy type bitter taste
- Different .. its a Pilsner, but more robust & hoppy.
- I am not sure how to rank this, I don't think I am a Lager type of beer guy, 6/10

Diamond Knot - Industrial IPA (7.9% ABV)

Diamond Knot - Industrial IPA (7.9% ABV)
- Mind you, this review was done with the beer nearly room temperature, so it's taste is prolly abit off.
- Fresh, crisp Hoppy aromatics, not flowery or sweet, also abit malty/alcoholy too
- Amber malty taste with a nice clean medium hoppy bitterness, not flowery sweet
- Man I wish I didn't forget about this bottle on the counter for 4 hours...I am sure it would have tasted much different
- You certainly can taste the malty alcohoness of the 7.9%, I bet if it was cold it would be more clean/crisp on the palette
- I am going to have to get this again and review it cold, but overall it's pretty good room temperature, 7/10

2009 Pike Entire Wood Aged Stout (9.5% ABV, IBU 65, OG 1.092)
- Plastic dipped bottle top .. friggin difficult to de-cap!
- Also costs $11.99 USD for a 22oz!
- Ultra CO2! Lots and Lots and Lots of Head! Pour with Patience & Care!
- Took 5+ mins for the initial head to go down to pour more into the glass!
- Dark, bitter-sweet, brown sugar, chocolatey malts aromatics
- Mmmmm...DANG! Initial taste is dark but bitter-sweet, smokey chocolate
- Very CO2 feeling, but t-h-i-c-k ... makes me burp almost after drinking!
- Re-taste is.. woody, bitter malty, bitter-sweet chocolate
- Aftertaste is .. umm .. similar, but of a dark dark roast espresso, non sweet chocolate mocha
- Whoa, very different! very CO2-y, makes me burp alot
- Again! do not pour quick or without care! will overflow glass if not carefull!
- If you like CO2 + dark dark, smokey, espresso, bitter non sweet mocha's, get this...
- Not sure if I'd buy it again...it's not bad, but not my thing, 6/10

edit: more pics of opening

Hercules Double IPA (10.0% ABV! IBU 85)

Hercules Double IPA (10.0% ABV! IBU 85)
- Light flowery hops aromatics, amber/caramel malts too
- Medium body, abit of creamy CO2 feel
- Pretty bitter, but a different bitter than I've had before, not face twisting bitter
- Light flowery hops, but a malty, bitter, medium thickness bitter taste
- Aftertaste has a lil kick of something else bitter too, has trails of nutty & citrus flavors
- Dang this is alcoholy too at 10%! Prolly one of the most ABV IPA that I can remember
- I prolly would but it again, though if there was other IPAs I would get them 1st
- Recommend if you want a different pretty bitter IPA that'll get ya crunk fast
- over all score.. I guess 6.5/10

Pike Monk's Uncle Tripel Ale (9.0% ABV, IBU 34, OG 1.075)

Pike Monk's Uncle Tripel Ale (9.0% ABV, IBU 34, OG 1.075)
- Typical Belgium Tripel aromatics (light fruits, citrus, banana/coriander)
- Mediumish mouthy, clear~cloudy feel, not very CO2'y
- semi-bitter flavor, then the semi-sweet banana/coriander taste, and finishes with some bitterness
- Hmmm .. different kind of Tripel, fairly bitter IMHO, not very citrus/banana smooth
- Not sure if I would buy it agian...well once more to confirm it's taste later on
- 6/10

Pike XXXXX Extra Stout (7.0% ABV, IBU 65, OG 1.073)

Pike XXXXX Extra Stout (7.0% ABV, IBU 65, OG 1.073)
- Light bitter hoppy & dark malts aromatics
- Heavy, thickish mouthly feel, light CO2 feel & head
- Whoooah! fairly bitter! well it is for me, would prolly be very pucker-bitter for non bitter drinkers
- Dark chocolate, coffee, smokey malts
- I like this! it's like a Ultra IPA Stout, will buy again for sure, recommend if you like Bitter & Stout beers, 8.5/10
