Stone - Old Guardian Belgo Barley Wine Style Ale (12% ABV)

Stone - Old Guardian Belgo Barley Wine Style Ale (12% ABV)
- Opened the bottle, smells lightly of sweetish hops & malts
- Semi sweet malt & crisp bitter hop flavors, medium-creamy mouthy feel
- Way different aftertaste .. kinda hard to describe, other than barley wine if you know what I mean
- Bottle said to age at cellar temp 55ºf or below .. maybe I should have kept it for years before I tried it
- Man the 12% ABV kicks in fast ..

Full Sail - Bump in the Night, Cascadian Dark Ale (6.5 % ABV)

Full Sail - Bump in the Night, Cascadian Dark Ale (6.5 % ABV)
- Very light burnt/smokey aromatics
- Complex, smokey, semi-burnt, grains, malts, slight bitter hops flavor
- A bit of an odd, almost soapy like aftertaste .. and then trails to a smokey bitterness
- Medium, smooth creamyish mouthy feeling
- Definitely complex & different .. I kinda like it .. will try it again .. 7/10

Flyers - Afterburner IPA (6.5% ABV)

Flyers - Afterburner IPA (6.5% ABV)
- Light dry hop aromatics
- Lots of thick CO2 if poured wrong (I did that to get more aromatics going)
- Nice bitter IPA taste .. not flowery .. just bitter, medium-thick mouthy feel
- Whoa, strong bitter trailing aftertaste .. kinda metallicly too .. not steel, not iron .. maybe copper
- Dang, this is straight up bitter IPA, gives Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA a run for its bitterness
- Not sure if I'd get it again .. I like more of a fresh/flowery bitter IPA .. 6.5/10
